when it comes to magic and spells the first two sorcerers I would give anything to see get into the ring are the ubiquitous Mr. Potter and the eponymous hero of the new BBC series,Merlin (i know my fellow magicians will agree to this). Who would win? That’s exactly what this article is determined to find out so I decided to do a little research on both characters(i'm kinda jobless)

The movie follow his journey to a young adult with his best friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasly, mastering spell-casting and eventually leading to a confrontation with the dark wizard Voldemort, who is so powerful adult wizards dare not speak his name.

In the other corner, we have Merlin from the new BBC UK TV series, a re-imagination of the archetypal British myth. In the series we observe young Merlin who arrives fresh at Camelot only to discover he must protect young Prince Arthur while hiding his mystical nature because Arthur’s father has outlawed all magic in the kingdom! Introductions aside let’s see who would win in a duel between these magical prodigies: and Note Harry needs a wand, Merlin does not.

Researchers have built an artificial-heart-like pump that could extract electricity using microbial fuel cells that are fed on human urine or other waste products.

It's a first: researchers have built the first artificial-heart-like pump that is powered by microbial fuel cells fed on human urine. But instead of being used as a prosthetic device for human patients suffering from cardiac failure, the pump is intended to be used in "EcoBots" that extract energy from organic waste and turn it into electricity.
The researchers, from the University of the West of England and the University of Bristol have published their paper in Bioinspiration &Biomimetics.

We Are More Likely To Lie In the Afternoon

Now a studyfinds that as a result we may be more likely to cheat or lie in the afternoon than in the morning. But only if we’re usually ethical to begin with.

Scientists showed volunteers patterns of dots on a computer and asked them to tell which side of the screen contained more dots, the right or left. Here's the kicker: the researchers gave the subjects a higher reward if they selected the right side, even if it was incorrect. And with this incentive, subjects were more likely to cheat in the afternoon than in the morning.

In another experiment the scientists showed the subjects fragments of words, and asked them to complete the word. For example, they might see the last three letters, R, A, L, of a five-letter word. And surprisingly in the morning the participants tended come up with the word "moral" whereas in the afternoon the word of choice was “coral.”

The researchers also found that people who tend to cheat regularly were just as likely to do so in the morning as in the afternoon. It was the more ethical folks who suffered lapses as the day wore on. So the early bird gets the worm…and the truth.

Erland Flaws, 26, was also banned from driving for five years and ordered to resit an extended test before driving again.
Flaws was speeding in his Peugeot 307 when he smashed head on into a car being driven by Moira Towers on the A965 on Orkney in February 2012. Ms Towers, 65, and her passenger Anne Stanger, 64, who had been coming home from a bingo night, died at the scene.
The High Court at Livingston was told Mrs Towers' husband had suffered anxiety, insomnia and depression as a result of her death.
